An Overdue Visit

Mike and I have been trying to catch up with our friends the Johnson family for a few months now, but our schedule never matched up. They had a baby girl in July...Miss "Tiny". Last night we finally matched our schedules up. I was able to meet Miss "Tiny", and she is adorable! It took her a LONG time to warm up to me, but we finally became friends. Davian was so sweet and thoughtful and made us a super YUMMY dinner that was gluten free...how cool is that! We chatted for a few hours, and it was good to catch up. Thanks for dinner again, and we must get together again soon. Miss "Tiny" will miss me too much. (Sorry I forgot to take any pictures, but you can see how cute she is on their blog HERE.)

Week Ten-No Tutu Yet

So for week ten isn’t it fitting that I lost 0.1 lbs this week.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!  I decided there was not a need to change my side bar to 11.1 lost.  To be honest there were lots of things against me.  I was under the weather at the beginning of the week, report cards on do on Monday-YIKES, baby shower-with yummy treats, and our friends had us over for a super delicious dinner...so in the end I am happy I went down and not up!  I really didn’t get on board with exercise this week like I promised...So here is to week 11.  Exercise is MANDATORY!  Maybe I will even take up ballet-HA, I don’t think a tutu would agree with my body right now.

I am famous!

So remember my amazing swap partner, Julianne. (If not read here.) She named a pair of earrings after me.  AND hello, they are so me.  Red and dots.  LOVE them!  Check her ETSY shop here.  You can purchase the "Hannah Earrings" for only $4.25!

BEST purchase EVER!!!

Mike and I watch a lot of movies. However since our schedules NEVER rarely match up we normally end of paying $5-10 for one Red Box movie. Renting at Hollywood and Blockbuster...come on $5 a pop...no thanks. We joined Netflix...again.  (We had in Georgia.)  We love Netflix...no late fees...tons of choices...only $8.99 a month...such a FAB deal! Mike ALMOST  came close to talking me into getting a PS3 (or whatever it's called).  I am SO not a video games person.  Then we discover Roku.  It's this cute LITTLE box that you can watch movie after movie after movie all with your Netflix subscription.  LOVE IT!!!  It cost me $80, but I would agree with MasterCard it's "priceless".  Cheerio darlings I am off to watch a movie or two with my hubby on my new Roku

Week Nine-Stalemate

I don’t know a lot about Chess, but I think stalemate means you can’t really make anymore good moves.  That is the "weigh"(way) I feel right now.  I didn’t gain or lose any weight this week.  I know it's a good thing I am maintaining.  However, I feel it is time I through in some extra gust.  I came up with four ideas.  First, I will be placing a "scoreboard" on my sidebar of my weekly weight loss.  I think this will help motivate me a little more.  Second, I will be increasing my workout, and I will stay dedicated.  Third, I MUST be 100% gluten free. (I had 2 gluten days this week, and I paid the price. OUCH!) Fourth, I must increase my water intake.  I LOVE water, and I drink a lot...but it's time to add more.  Here's to week ten.  I know I can do it!

Thanksgiving Break

I know this is a bit early....but I am so excited for Thanksgiving.  I have an ENTIRE week break!  Not so sure about having a gluten free Thanksgiving dinner, but it should be fun to try.

October Wrap Up

What a crazy, busy, wild month October has been! First, my parents came to visit. Second, we had General Conference, which was a wonderful. Third, I had fall break and read Hunger Games and Catching Fire. Fourth, in the month of October, I have had to deal with 8 deaths this month-not fun! Fifth, my dad had his birthday, and I sent him a gift that he used to have when I was a kid-Cactus Man. Sixth, Mike and I went to Lagoon for the last time this year-we only made it 3 times with our season passes, but it was still worth it. Seventh, my kiddos and I built a fort at school with blankets to tell our mystery stories for Halloween, so COOL!  I was a piggy for Halloween. Eighth, I am now a red head. Ninth, I meet my swap partner, Julianne. Tenth, I sold my Subaru yesterday. I didn’t think it would sell that quickly with the economy (sold it less than 2 weeks). Now Mike and I are sharing a car until we figure out what other car to buy. This should be an interesting week. That's a wrap for October, and now welcome to November!
